Information boards

To encourage the general public to care for our natural areas, first we should try and improve their awareness of these unique zones and their values. One way to do this is with information boards at relevant sites explaining which species live there and why they are important as well as interesting facts and figures, using visual tools like images and illustrations to attract the public’s attention and create a link between visitors and nature.

We have worked with local town halls such as Alcanar, Sant Carles de la Ràpita, l’Ampolla, l’Ametlla de Mar, and l’Hospitalet de l’Infant to produce visitor information boards explaining the beauty and points of interest of their coastlines and underwater life. Research projects such as Life Ebro-Admiclim developed by the IRTA body have also used our information boards to show the results in situ of the various projects they have carried out locally.
