Family Workshop: “Discover the Sea”

Snorkeling is an activity in growing demand at tourist destinations worldwide; it offers the same fascination with the underwater world as scuba diving, but without the complexity.

For years, Plàncton Diving has been the leading center for snorkeling instruction in Catalonia. We stand out for our biological perspective and our innovative commitment to a discipline often overlooked within the diving community.

Would you like to explore the marine environment with us? Our guides are primarily marine scientists—biologists, oceanographers, environmental scientists, and more. We always begin the activity with a marine biology seminar, where you will learn to identify the species most likely to be spotted during our snorkeling excursion.

If it’s your first time, we’ll teach you everything—from how to breathe using a mask and snorkel to how to swim more comfortably. Once in the water, your guide will point out the species we discussed during the seminar. Would you like to join us? All necessary equipment is included in the price; just bring your swimsuit, a towel, and a desire to have a great time!
