*Prices per person

Snorkeling is an activity in growing demand at tourist destinations worldwide; it offers the same enchanting underwater experience as scuba diving, but without the complexity.

Plàncton Diving is the leading center for snorkeling instruction in Catalonia, distinguished by our biological perspective and our innovative focus on a discipline that has traditionally been overlooked within the scuba diving industry.

Do you want to learn how to lead snorkeling excursions and teach snorkeling courses? Are you already leading snorkeling trips in your current job but would like a professional qualification to validate your skills? Become a certified snorkeling instructor with us, and you will be able to teach and certify snorkeling courses anywhere in the world.

This course complies with the ISO 13970 standard, making it currently the only certification that qualifies you to lead snorkeling excursions or teach snorkeling courses without needing to be a dive guide or a scuba diving instructor.

Please note that while you will be fully qualified to lead excursions once you earn your certification, issuing “SSI Snorkel Diver” course certifications requires you to be affiliated with an SSI dive center and to maintain an active instructor status by paying the annual SSI fee.
