Our team stands out for its expertise and complementary skills. We are highly qualified professionals with university degrees and master’s qualifications, as well as additional training in scientific and environmental communication, diving, professional boating, Web 2.0 and social media, leisure education, funding opportunities, and project and organisational management.
Furthermore, our extensive experience in the world of associations has given us valuable expertise in writing projects, securing funding for environmental initiatives and carrying them out. As a reflection of this commitment, we are also members of several organisations, including the Catalan Association for Science Communication and the European Marine Science Educators Association.
You can find us working anywhere in Catalonia, but our true passion lies in the coast and marine environment of Tarragona, particularly the Terres de l’Ebre region, which is so special, close to our hearts and yet still largely undiscovered. We believe in highlighting the value of all these places by involving local communities — from young girls to female mayors, including tuna fishers and tourists — in learning about and protecting them.
The marine environment is profoundly complex and beyond the reach of most people. It is therefore both a necessity and a responsibility to bridge the gap between secondary schools, universities and research centres, and all sectors of society. At Plàncton, we want to be that bridge, using both traditional and new technologies to get the message across.
