Bale's Moses actually argues with God in this film, well the young boy version of God (eh?). The story of Moses is being brought to the big screen in a more grand yet more "accessable" fashion. Seems like a risky thing to do considering you only just heard about this claim, of your own birth, not so long ago. The one thing that people approaching Exodus: Gods and Kings from either a religious or secular background will be able to agree upon is a lack of faith in Scott's devotion to making a good film.
